The Portrait Dolls have their own category because they are one-of-a-kind dolls made from your photos. My sample portrait dolls are shown so you can see examples of my work. I use mainly celebrities because you can recognize them. Ordinarily they are dolls made to resemble people like you.
The Available Dolls are ready to move into your dollhouse today. They've been dressed in period costumes right down to their authentic shoes. Their hair is combed and their bags are packed (figuratively speaking). They cost a little bit less than the same doll if you were to buy it customized.
The Customized Dolls are a sort of mix and match. You choose from among the many doll heads and period costumes and decide on the hand pose, eye and hair color. I'm continually adding new dolls and costumes so if you don't see what you want today you may see it sometime soon. The costumes are categorized by century. At present there ae 13 men's costumes pictured. The women's and children's costumes will be added soon.
The Character Dolls are both 'story book" characters as well as character types (such as a gypsy fortune teller, a bag lady, a bum etc.). The story book characters include Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, Scrooge and Jacob Marley. Feel free to suggest others to me, including fantasy dolls. I already plan to do a Wizard, like Merlin.
My Family Values section will have doll families dressed from the same period. This will be similar to the Available Dolls section in that the dolls will be finished and ready to mail. I plan to have 4 or 5 generations of family members(eventually).
Doll Kits are available for all the dolls I've created (except the one-of-a-kind dolls). They come assembled (but undressed), in parts with the body and instructions or with no body or instructions. The doll heads are china painted but Unwigged. The shoes come in many periods and styles, but are unpainted. Kits range from $45.00 to $75.00.
